Freshly Fried by raising partnership-based knowledge and awareness.
Together we start a partnership for a transnational campaign to raise awareness for the harmful effects of the misuse of cooking oil and how we can prevent the creeping poisoning of edible oil in our food chain. We aim for partnership and contribute to SDG 17.
Freshly Fried by following the international standards of the Codex Alimentarius.
The Codex Alimentarius by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) aims to protect the health of consumers by promoting the quality and safety of the global food supply. We stand for responsible consumption and contribute to SDG 12.
Freshly Fried by controlling self-responsibly the quality of the cooking oil.
Studies have shown that Used Cooking Oil (UCO) is too often going back into the food chain. This causes a contamination of mainly non-branded fresh cooking oil. By regularly testing the quality of the cooking oil, we assure that we always start fresh right from the beginning. We ensure healthy lives and contribute to SDG 3.
Freshly Fried by disposing through authorised whole circle collection systems.
A separate waste segregation mechanism for UCO is needed in order to prevent the contamination of other spaces in commercial kitchens. Only a collection partner who provides a whole circle system, from waste bins through logistics to processing units can assure this high standard. We stand for security and resilience and contribute to SDG 11.
Freshly Fried by monitoring and certifying the whole supply chain.
Fats and oils which are improperly discarded cause sewage blockages and further contamination of clean water and our environment. We must prevent this outcome by disposing all UCO in a monitored and certified way. We ensure sustainability and contribute to SDG 6.
