Austria's Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour, Dr. Martin Kocher, visited East Africa earlier this week on a business mission to strengthen political and economic ties in the region. Kenya was also on the itinerary. Reason enough for us to invite the Minister's business delegation to visit our fat processing plant in Nairobi.

 

On Tuesday, the team from Münzer Kenya Pvt. Ltd. received the Austrian business delegation led by Federal Minister Dr. Martin Kocher at the fat processing plant in Nairobi. Münzer is one of only 15 Austrian companies operating in Kenya and the most recently established. The Minister was therefore very impressed by the fact that Münzer Kenya was successfully established in 2021, right in the middle of the coronavirus quarantine.

 

During a tour of the plant, the path of the used cooking oil was explained, from delivery to the loading point for export. In particular, our high safety standards and the special attention we pay to the protection of our employees were key topics.
